Release Engineer - Cupertino, CA


We are looking for a Build/Release Engineer with extensive automation experience on the Microsoft Stack.

Key Responsibilities and Activities
  • Establishing and maintaining change management infrastructure (Jenkins, Subversion)
  • Developing and maintaining build tools and scripts (MSBuild, Powershell)
  • Initial troubleshooting of build failures, coordinating resolution efforts and communicating with appropriate team members
  • Merging, versioning, packaging of applications in preparation for deployment
  • Managing Development and QA environments
  • Managing QA and Regression test infrastructure
  • Develop and Maintain Puppet Manifests
  • Help define best practices for release management
  • Ensure Security and PCI compliance in all aspects of the build/release process
Required Skills and Background
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and independently, strong team player
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work constructively with developers, Operations, and Management towards a common goal
  • High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customer and our company succeed
  • 3+ years experience preferred
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, IIS and SQL Server
  • Linux experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience using AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS)
  • Knowledge of branching, merging, tagging with SVN or other version control systems
  • Experience with Selenium automation is a bonus
