Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development for KalioCommerce, Robert is responsible for enterprise sales, marketing strategies and nurturing strategic partnerships that extend Kalio's solutions and bring additional value to our customers. He brings over 20 years' experience in the eCommerce field and has worked with numerous companies to envision, deploy and grow their global and domestic eCommerce businesses.
Previously, Robert was director of business development for 1WorldSync/GS1 and was responsible for launching new omni-channel commerce products into the retail and branded manufacturer market. Prior to 1WorldSync, he served as Digital River's Director of North American Sales working with branded manufacturers on their global eCommerce strategies and with Micros (Oracle), focused on omni-channel and eCommerce platform solutions for retail brands.
In the mid-nineties and for 12 years thereafter, Robert was founding partner of a software solutions systems integrations consulting firm focused on business process and eCommerce technologies. His firm was an early pioneer in eCommerce, launching their first fully integrated B2B2C eCommerce store for an industrial distribution client in 1998. The site is still heavily used by the company.
Robert attended Wayne State University and holds multiple technical certifications from major software providers in eCommerce and web application development, security and systems management.
