Top 500 etailer sustains years of strong growth with partnership of “boutique” platform provider.

Motis Brands, a rapidly growing IR Top 500 etailer, approached Kalio with a challenge: convert their old ecommerce site,, to a modern data driven site capable of handling a large catalog of complex, configurable products. The investors had charged CMO Eric Grunewald, an industry veteran and frequent speaker at the Internet Retailer Conference, with dramatically growing the company's online sales.

The Motis team knew they would need to refresh the site constantly to keep ahead of the competition, requiring a flexible cloud platform that didn't limit them to a rigid template but allowed them freedom to innovate. In addition, they needed a real-time integration to NetSuite, whose ecommerce capabilities were not up to the challenge.

Motis had another challenge.
